Safeguarding

TIBS ethos:  to provide players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play football in a fun, safe and friendly environment.

We acknowledge the responsibility to safeguarding and the welfare of every child and young person and is committed to working to provide a safe environment for all members and visitors to TIBS.

A child or young person is anyone under the age of 18 engaged in any club football activity. We subscribe to The Football Association’s (The FA) Safeguarding children Policy and procedures that can be found at:
www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/safeguarding/policy-downloads

We are also committed to providing a safe environment within open age football (teams with players aged 16+) and promote the welfare of all regardless of sex, age and disability.

TIBS have a detailed safeguarding policy, and we encourage all parents to read it.
